An bhfuil an dinnéar ullamh?	Is (the) dinner ready?
Níl sé ullamh fós.	It is not ready yet.
Tá an garsún breoite.	The boy is sick.
An bhfuil airgead anso?	Is there money here?
Tá an fear tuirseach.	The man is tired.
Ná fuil an lá garbh?	Is not the day windy?
Tá, ach níl sé fuar.	Yes, but it is not cold.
Tá na boscaí lán.	The boxes are full.
Tá buidéil ansan.	There are bottles there.
Tá na leabhair caillte.	The books are lost.

An bhfuil sí dúnta?	Is it closed?
Níl, tá sí ar oscailt.	No, it is open.

Tá an deoch ana-mhilis.	The drink is very sweet.

Nílid, táid siad salach.	No, they are dirty.
Tá na doirse dúnta agus tá na fuinneoga ar oscailt.	The doors are closed and the windows are open.
